Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Anne de Freyman and I am a French native from Provence, with 16 years’ experience as a full-time freelance translator of English to French. I am currently based in the beautiful city of York.
Over these 16 years I have translated many millions of words for a very large number of translation agencies and direct clients, including individuals and SMEs. My aim is always to ensure that your experience of using my services is positive, painless and confident, however big or small your project.
Having built a strong network of trusted colleagues and agencies, I should have no problems pointing you in the right direction or giving you relevant advice if I am unable to help on a particular project due to time constraints or if you need someone with a different language combination.
I am a qualified member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and a member of the Société française des traducteurs.
In 2010, I taught practical translation on-line to MA students at Exeter University.
I also became an assessor for the admissions department of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting in 2010.
I am one of the original co-founders of eCPD Webinars, specialised in providing on-line continuous professional development for translators.
